Airlines hangars operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so naturally the choice of floors is critical. The typical requirements are high chemical and mechanical resistance, long lasting and very durable, easy to clean, water resistant and completely watertight. Finally, UV resistance is also a requirement as many hangar are open to the natural elements, and therefore it is important that the color does not change due to aesthetic
and safety reasons. Not to mention anti slip properties, so the floor is safe to walk regardless of any water or oil.
