When a well-visited food market, with only one weekly closing day, needs new flooring, it has to go fast. Because customers are known to be no more loyal than a hungry stomach allows, and other nearby markets beckon. At the same time, it is important that the new floor does not give off gases while it hardens, which gives off-flavors to the shops' meat, fish and cheeses, etc. That was Dencoat Spain's challenge. The fact that the city's Food Market also got a non-slip and easy-to-clean floor naturally only made the market's stallholders even more satisfied.

The project
The cozy and well-visited Food Market in Jerez de la Frontera needed a new floor covering. The existing floor was cracked and cracked and impossible to keep neat, clean and hygienic. At the same time, Jerez de la Frontera's Food Market wanted to upgrade to a non-slip floor, because if a stall holder washed the floor in front of his shop, or customers came in with rain-soaked shoes, the existing floor was a pure slip. It can cost customers. And then there was the time factor – the new floor had to be able to be laid on a Sunday, the market's closing day, and have time to harden before the stall holders prepared the day's trade early on Monday morning.
